Leta F. Dorman

Leta F. Dorman, age 46, of 1325 Slimp Branch Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Tuesday morning, April 19, 2011 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a daughter of Al Lawson and the late Ilene Payne Lawson. Leta loved gardening, sewing, cooking and the church. She was a member of Victory Chapel Cowboy Church. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Janine "Tiki" Norris. Survivors include: her husband, Gary Dorman, of the home; two sons: Jake Dorman and wife Brittany and Zackary Dorman, all of Mountain City, TN; two sisters: Cathy Zingler and husband Gary of Marietta, GA and Missy Cornett and husband Charlie of Murrells Inlet, SC; two brothers: John Alexander and wife Nancy of Butler, TN and P.D. Lawson and wife Sandy of Mountain City, TN; two grandsons: Nathanial and Carson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Leta F. Dorman will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 from Victory Chapel Cowboy Church with Rev. Carroll Hayworth officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside service and interment will follow in Gambill Springs Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be John Alexander, P.D. Lawson, Charlie Cornett, Gary Zingler, Bronson Alexander, Jeremy Alexander, Ray Zingler and Willie Rork. Honorary pallbearers will be Bryce Cook, Dennis Topcik and Danny Kats. In lieu of flowers, it was Leta's request that contributions be made to SmileTrain-Dept. Mag., P.O.
