Lillian Mciver Wilson Bumgardner

Lillian McIver Wilson Bumgardner, age 99, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee and formerly of Trade, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 14th, 2005 at the Mountain City Care Center following a brief illness. Ms. Bumgardner was born September 7th, 1906 in Watauga County, North Carolina to the late Marion Roby Wilson and Elizabeth Miller Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ray Bumgardner; one son, Ralph Bumgardner; two sisters: Ms. Della Thomas and Ms. Anna Greene and 5 brothers: Rom, Byron, Archie, Ferd, and Rolf Wilson. Ms. Bumgardner was a member of the Trade United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing and gardening. Ms Bumgardner is survived by several nieces and nephews. Graveside Services and Interment for Lillian McIver Wilson Bumgardner will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2005 the Trade United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Larry Rye to officiate. Friends may call at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home at other times. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
