Linda Laws

Linda L. Laws, age 67, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2015 at Mountain City Health Care, 921 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City. She was born June 4, 1948 to the late Burl Blaine Laws and Velma Christine Laws. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by her nephew, Doug Eldreth. Linda has lived in Johnson County most of her life. She was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include: her mother, Velma Christene Laws, of the home, three sisters: Diana L. Snyder and husband Terry, Teresa C. Eldreth, and Lisa D. Vines and husband Ray, one brother; Tim B. Laws and wife Patsy, several nieces and nephews: Brian Snyder, Candida Presnell, Jacinda Triplett, Amy Lewis, and Michael McQueen. Several great nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends from 5:30p.m.- 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2016 from the East Side Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. 

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Mountain City Care Center, Dr. Daniel Jones, and Dr. Jim Shine.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
