Lois Reece

Lois Reece, age 50, of 6481 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN, passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006, at her residence. A native of Carter County, she was born March 29, 1956, to the late Billy and Ella Mae (Hall) Church. Lois was a LPN for 20 years and had worked for the Johnson County Health Center. She was a member of the Southside Freewill Baptist Church. Lois is survived by her husband, Randy, of the home; one son, John Reece, of the home; father and mother in law, Dean "Grandpa" and Judy "Granny" Reece, of Butler, TN; one sister, Sandra Patrick and husband Earl, of Creston, NC; brother in law, Kevin Reece and wife Kathleen, of Butler, TN; two nephews and several aunts and uncles also survive. Graveside Services for Lois Reece were held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 8, 2006, from the Hammons Cemetery with Rev. Gary Hill to officiate. Pallbearers were: Ricky Price, Gerald Price, Tommy Brewer, and Billy Patrick. A Memorial Service for Lois Reece will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, May 14, 2006 from the Southside Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hill to officiate. Friends may call at the residence, 6481 Forge Creek Road, Mountain City, TN, 37683, at anytime. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lois Reece Memorial Fund, c/o Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, 300 W. Main Street, Mountain City, TN, 37683.
