Lois Elaine Westphal

Lois Elaine Westphal, age 68, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2026 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born May 22, 1958 to the late Gerald Barr and to Lucy Guinn Barr.  

Lois was raised in Rising Sun, Maryland, and was a homemaker.  Her love for flowers was a reflection of her gentle spirit, filling the world and the lives of those she loved with vibrant color and constant beauty.  She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be dearly missed. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Lucy Barr; daughter, Caitlin Westphal; son, Jonathan Westphal; sister, Gerri Lynn Barnes; brothers, Gerald Barr Jr. and Franklin Barr; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Mike and Karen and her caregivers, Linda Williams and Leona Barnett.  

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services for Lois.
