Obituary for: Loraine Snyder Loraine G. Snyder, age 89, of 6354 Hwy 67W, Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday March 22, 2015 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. She was born April 28, 1925 to the Ronder H. Goodwin and Beulah Rambo Goodwin. She was a member of Doe Valley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, reading and was a member of F.C.E. (Home Demonstration Club). In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Rhudy, and a brother, Ronder Goodwin, Jr. Survivors include: her husband, W. Ben Snyder, of the home; one daughter: Kerwin Cornett and husband Joe; one son: Terry Snyder and wife Diana; two sisters: Anna Stout Ethridge and Ailene Mizell; grandchildren: Brian Snyder, Clay Graybeal, Candida Presnell, Joey Beth Souder, Jacinda Triplett; great grandchildren: Chloee Graybeal, Sydney Souder, Pacey Presnell, Corbin Presnell, Madilynn Triplett, Abigayle Triplett, Briton Snyder, and Keegan Snyder. Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2015 from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Gary Hill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside service and interment will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Shoun Goodwin Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Gary Stout, Linnie Rhudy, Tony Rhudy, David Snyder, Wesley Snyder, Clay Souder, Norman Presnell and John Triplett. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Brookshire, John Holloway, H.R. Long, Michael Long, Lynn Snyder and Joe Pat Snyder. At the other times the family will receive friends at the residence of her daughter Kerwin Cornett, 6363 Hwy 67 W, Mountain City, TN or at the home of her son Terry Snyder 6433 Hwy 67 W, Mountain City TN.
