Loretta "Joan" Phillips

Loretta "Joan" Phillips of Michigan passed away on September 1, 2014. Loretta was born October 12, 1936. She is survived by two children: Pamela (Dale) Johnson and Roy Phillips; two sisters: Carol Shearer and Ruthann (Dwight) Gallaher; one brother: Richard Millmine and one sister-in-law: Flo Barbe. She was blessed to have 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a proud member of FOE Auxiliary #3613 Orin/Oxford, WOTM Chapter #854 Holly and Aripeka FL Lodge #2420 where she was Past Exalted Ruler. She was preceded in death by her husband Taylor (Charlie) Phillips; son Aubrey (Red) Phillips; daughter Jeanne Fyke; two brothers, one sister and one niece. Memorial services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2014 at the Dryer Funeral Home in Holly, Michigan. Services were followed by a dinner at the Holly Moose Lodge. The family will receive friends in Mountain City on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2014 from the Dugger/Cable Cemetery near Sugar Grove Baptist Church, Butler, TN.
