Louise Forrester

Louise Forrester, age 85, of 284 Ridge Drive, Piney Flats, TN, formerly of 1162 Stage Road, Mountain City, TN passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2014 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was born March 7, 1929 to the late Noah and Virdie Woodard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Conley William Forrester; son; Floyd Charles Forrester; daughter: Karen Gail Forrester; and grandson Shawn Forrester; brothers: Dan Woodard, Elmer Woodard, Wade Woodard and Marion Woodard and a sister Carrie May. Louise enjoyed birds, flowers, sewing, gardening and she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include: two daughters: Evelyn Dancy and husband Gene of Zionville, NC and Theresa Roberts and husband Arnold of Piney Flats; daughter-in-law: Nancy Forrester of Shady Valley, TN; grandchildren: Fran Roberts, Jennifer Billings, Joshua Roberts and Amy Dancy; three brothers: Paul Woodard of Bristol, VA; Glen Woodard of NC and Jerry Woodard of Fredericksburg, VA; sisters: Aretanza Howard of Bristol, VA and Vilas Icenhour and husband Jim of Mountain City, TN; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Eddie Porter and Rev. Greg Lovelace officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Graveside services and interment will be held in Sunset Memorial Park at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2014. Active pallbearers will be Joshua Roberts, Jonathan Roberts, Gene Dancy and Arnold Roberts. Honorary pallbearers will be David Forrester and Daniel Forrester.
