We are saddened to announce the passing of Lowell Jackson Blevins Jr also known as Bob or Bop. Age 62 of Creston NC. After a brief battle with cancer. He was born January 28, 1960 to Lowell Jackson Blevins Sr and Ivalee Blevins in Baltimore Maryland. He was preceded in death by his father Lowell Blevins Sr, brother Jimmy Blevins, brother in law Roger Blankenblecker and Uncle Jay Blevins. Bob was always a friendly face in the community, He was an employee of Potters Lumber for 36 years as an equipment operator. He loved Nascar races, camping, fishing, gardening and barbeques with the family. Family was always very important to him. He is survived by his wife Marilyn and son Shane of the home. His mother Ivalee Blevins. Sisters Bertha Houser and Bobby, Patricia Lowther and Ray, Charlene Blackenbeckler, Mary Eastridge and Jerry, Sherri Plum and Doug. One Brother Glenn Blevins and Kathy. Stepsons Gregory Graybeal and Michael Potter. Step daughters Terri Graybeal and Tarrina Osborne. Step granddaughters Megan, Makayla, Victoria, Paige and Maggie. Step grandsons Gabriel, Cole, Mason, Gavin and Malachi. Step great grandchildren Paisley, Emma, Jose, David and Brantley also a sister n law Patricia Blevins Nephews David Plum, Bill and John Lowther, Brandon Ham, Chris Houser, Josh Plum, Cory, Cody, Chris and Curtis Blevins. Nieces Sharon Meitzer, Amanda Horne, Miranda Blankenbeckler, Journey Carter, Taylor Pate, Shallen Plum and Jessi Kennedy. Graveside Service will be conducted on Sunday February 27th 2022 at 2 pm in the Blevins Cemetery on Roundabout road in Creston, N.C. With Rev; Darrell Graybeal officiating. Pallbearers are David Plum, Michael Potter, Bill Lowther, Brandon Ham, Chris Houser, and Jerry Eastridge.
