Obituary for: Loyd Wilson Loyd Wilson, age 81, of L.Wilson Lane, Butler, Tennessee passed away Friday, October 8, 2010 at his residence after brief illness. He was born November 25, 1928 to the late Charlie C. Wilson and Bonnie Dugger, Wilson. Loyd was a United States Army Veteran having served during Korea. His hobbies included Hunting, gardening and especially loved to work in his apple orchard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Farrell Wilson. Survivors include; Special Cousins; Bob and Shannon Greene, Butler, Tennessee Sister in Law; Kate Wilson, Mountain City, Tennessee. Several cousins also survive. Funeral services for Loyd Wilson will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 12, 2010 in the East Side chapel of the Hux-Lipford funeral home with Rev. Ray Greene officiating. Graveside service and interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday October 13, 2010 in Bakers Gap Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David, Dennis and Shane Greene, Bobby Holman, Bobby Stanton and Tommy Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Shannon and Arthur Greene, Glenn, Dan and Doug Arney. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. At other times friends may call at the funeral home.
