Lucile Lowe Eggers

Mrs. Lucile Lowe Eggers, age 82, of 604 W Main Street, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away October 05, 2003 at her residence. She was a native of Johnson County and was born March 09, 1921 to the late Robert and Gladys Wilson Lowe. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Eggers, who passed away September 02, 1999 and one grandson, Jimmy Scruggs. Mrs. Eggers had retired from Burlington and enjoyed reading, needle work and gardening. She was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mrs. Eggers is survived by: (3) Daughters: Dorothy Scruggs and Peggy E. Yates, Mountain City, Tennessee Linda Beckner and husband Owen, Lithonia, Georgia (1) Sister: Marjorie Stackhouse, Siler City, North Carolina (2) Brothers: Loyd W. Lowe, Wicklyffe, Ohio (6) Grandchildren: Tracy Lineberry Fries, Virginia David Wagner, Denver, Colorado Melissa Newman, Mountain City, Tennessee Diane May, Avondale Estates, Georgia Laura Weaver, Mountain City, Tennessee Stacie Glaser, Cass Lake, Maryland (16) Great Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews. Special Friends: Brother-in-law, Bobby C. Eggers, Mountain City, Tennessee Sister-in-law, Ruth D. Stout, Mountain City, Tennessee Funeral Services for Mrs. Lucile Lowe Eggers, age 82, of 604 W Main Street, Mountain City, Tennessee will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 08, 2003 from the First Baptist Church with Rev. Norman Reece to officiate. Graveside Services will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers will be Daughters and Grandchildren. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Janet Drake and Staff, Dr. Jim Shine and Staff, Jerome Cohan and Johnson City Medical Center Hospice. Family will receive friends 1-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 08, 2003 prior to services.
