Lucy Ann Lewis

Lucy Lewis, age 83, of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025.  She was born August 13, 1941 to the late Blaine McElyea and Mae Trivette Mcelyea.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Lewis.

Lucy was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.  She loved gardening, eating with her buddy's and feeding the birds and squirrels.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Mark Lewis (Bridgette); sister, Peggy Brown; grandchildren, Samantha Johnson (Brad) and Stephanie Holland (Casey); great grandchildren, Allison, Emma Grace, Katie, Camden and Jaxton; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Evelyn Hill and Rose Tester also survive.

A graveside service for Lucy will be conducted at 12 p.m. on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at Sunset Memorial Park with Tom Reece officiating.

The pallbearers will be Casey Holland, Brad Johnson, Robbie Stout, Travis Lewis, Matthew Lewis and Brian Hamm.

Honorary pallbearers are Shannon Brown and Kevin Oliver.
