Lyle D Wolfe

BUTLER, TN Lyle D. Wolfe, age 73, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 16 th . He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Hassie Wolfe, and his siblings, Jim Wolfe, Terry Wolfe, and Sharon Potter.

He was a Johnson County native and a member of Sugar Grove Baptist Church. He retired from Appalachian State University. Lyle loved the outdoors, fishing, all things NASCAR, and restored vintage cars and pickup trucks.

Sincere thanks to the staff of Life Care of Elizabethton for their kind, compassionate care and the accommodations they made so Lyle could participate in special events and outings.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service. He hoped others could benefit from his passing through the Anatomical Gift Program at ETSU Quillen College of Medicine.
