View This Video Tribute Mack Nave, age 61, of 201 Murphy Street of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away unexpectedly on Sunday morning December 13, 2009 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was a son of the late John Hal Nave, Sr. and Mary Davis Nave. Mack loved fishing, spending time in Florida, loved his cats and loved rescuing cats. He was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam era as a naval pilot.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John Hal Nave, Jr. and Larry Nave.
Survivors include: his wife, Janet Datesh Nave, of Graham, NC; one brother: Jerry Nave of Mountain City, TN; niece: Jennifer Nave Smith of Jonesborough, TN; nephews: Mark W. Nave of Pittsburg, PA; John Hal Nave III and Ted Nave, both of California and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mack Nave will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2009 in the East Side Memory Chapel of the Hux~Lipford~Teague Funeral Home. Eulogies will be given by Dick Walsh, family members and other friends. Inurnment will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 in Mountain View Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service.
