Malcom Glen Fritts

Malcom Glen Fritts age 82 passed away August 22 at Holston Valley Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Malcom was born January 1st 1942 to the late John and Dorothy Fritts Hobson of Johnson County.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Kenneth Fritts, daughter Brenda Sue Fritts. Wife's Helen Healey Fritts, Diane Moody Fritts and a Grandson D.J. Fritts.

Malcom was a hard worker.  He worked on the family farm. He was employed in the RV industry in Indiana before returning to Tennessee.  He worked at Bernhart in Lenoir before retiring. Malcom loved God and his family.  He was a unique person who never met a stranger and loved to make everyone laugh.

Those left to cherish his memories include his wife Carol Fritts of Kingsport;  brother, Lawrence Fritts;  daughters, Judy Mahala and husband Eric, Charmin Stanley and husband Tony, Marie Fritts and Jodi Strombeck; sons Douglas Fritts and wife Debbie, David Fritts;  Fifteen Grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter and  several nieces and nephews also survive.

No formal service is scheduled at this time.  A private graveside service will be held at a later time.
