Maretta Forrester

Mrs. Maretta Baird Forrester, 78, of Piney Flats, went home to be with her Lord, on Sunday, December 20, at Bristol Hospice House. She was born in Mountain City, TN and was the daughter of the late Byron and Myra Buchanan Baird. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Forrester. Mrs. Forrester was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed being a homemaker. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Bobby Forrester, of the home; a son, Jeff Forrester, also of the home; four grandchildren, Isaac Forrester, Hannah Forrester, Caleb Forrester, and Caroline Forrester, all of Piney Flats. One great-grandchild, Rylan Salley, Piney Flats, also survives.

A service to honor the life of Mrs. Forrester will be conducted on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Tetrick Funeral Home, Bluff City Chapel with Rev. Ronald Forrester officiating. The family will recieve friends in the funeral home chapel from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday prior to the service, or at the home at other times.

The graveside service and interment will be conducted on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. in the Edgefield Cemetery in Piney Flats. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. Those wishing to attend are asked to meet the family at the cemetery at 12:50 p.m.
