Margaret Manuel

Margaret Manuel, age 65 of 407 North Church Street, Mountain City passed away unexpectedly Thursday Morning, January 24, 2008 at her home. She was a native of Johnson County and was a daughter of the late Ciscero and Ivadean Estep Rutter. She was also preceded in death by a brother Herbert Rutter. Mrs. Manuel was a retired employee of Levi-Strauss and was a member of the Mountain City Church of Christ. She was a loving and dedicated Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She loved her family. Survivors: include Husband: Don Edmond Manuel of the Home One daughter: Deborah Reeves of Elizabethton, TN Two sons: Edmond and wife Pam Manuel of Mountain City Michael and wife Vicky Manuel of Elizabethton, TN Four Granddaughters: Bridget and Husband John Jeter of Adel, Georgia Hannah Manuel of Elizabethton, TN Sydney Manuel of Mountain City Samantha Manuel of Mountain City One grandson: Ryan Lee Manuel of Elizabethon, TN One Great grandson: Larenzo McNeil Jeter, Adel, Georgia Five sisters: Shelby Hodge, Phyllis Shepherd, Glenda Shepherd, Lois Roark, Betty Henson Three Brothers: Sammy Rutter, David Rutter and Larry Rutter Several Nieces and Nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held 1:00 p. m. Saturday from the Blevins Cemetery in Shady Valley, TN with Mr. Darrell Broking to officiate. Burial will be in the Blevins Cemetery Active Pallbearers will be: Chuck Jenkins, Travis Broking, Robert Roush, Dallas Parker, Adam Williams and Tom Reece Honorary Pallbearers will be Members of the Johnson County Rescue Squad. To those that wish donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, 900 E. Hill Avenue, Suite 240, Knoxville, TN 37915. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P. M. Friday, January 25, 2008 from the Henson Funeral Home and other times friends may call at the residence, 407 N. Church Street, Mountain City at anytime. The family and Pallbearers will assemble at the Funeral Home Saturday at 12:20 to go in procession to the Blevins Cemetery, all others meet at the Cemetery.
