Marjorie Neatherly Stump

Obituary for: Marjorie Stump Marjorie Stump, age 98 of 288 W E Neatherly Road, Mountain City, Tennessee passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 after a brief illness in the Mountain City Care and Rehabilitation Center, 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee. Ms. Stump was the daughter of the late W. L. and Ellen Tester Neatherly. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Paul Stump in 1992. Two brothers, Earl Neatherly and James R. Neatherly. Two sisters, Christine E. Morefield and Mabel C. Gentry. She is survived by two sisters, Mary Barker of Mountain City, Tennessee and Peggy Fleenor of Bristol, Virginia; four nieces and one nephew. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2011 in the East Side Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Dwayne Dickson officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday prior to the funeral service. Due to inclement weather there will not be a formal graveside service. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery. At other times friends may call at the home of Mary Barker, 240 WE Neatherly Road, Mountain City, Tennessee.
