Mark Roberts

April 16, 1965 — January 19, 2025

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Marshall Clyde (Mark) Roberts age 59 of Mountain City, Tennessee on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at his residence.  He was born April 16, 1965 to the late J.L. Roberts and the late Betty Jean Stout Roberts.

Mark was a member of Doe Valley Baptist Church.  He was a very talented carpenter. He loved the outdoors, hunting, and riding motorcycles but most of all, Mark  loved spending time with his kids and grandkids.

Those left to cherish his memory include his two sons, Jarrett Roberts of Mountain City, TN and Jason Roberts (Emily) of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Melody Grayson (Todd) of Mountain City, TN and Shelia Kennedy of Mountain City, TN; brother, Tim Roberts (Robin) of Mountain City, TN; grandchildren, Elliott Roberts and Landon Roberts; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Vicky Shoup and her children, Scotty Green, Brandon Green and Louis Bova and her grandchildren, Scarlett, Haley and Anastasia Green.

A graveside service for Mark will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025 at The Roberts Cemetery with Leon Bryant officiating.  At other times friends may visit the homes of his sisters Melody Grayson 226 west Hillcrest Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683 and Sheila Kennedy 777 Pedro Shoun Lane, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683

Pallbearers will be Jarrett Roberts, Jason Roberts, Scotty Green, Blade Hampton, Gage Hampton and Jamie Roberts.

Honorary pallbearers are Victor Dunn, Ronnie Dunn, Douglas Icenhour and Kirby Proffitt.
