Marlene Aldridge Kellis

Marlene Aldridge Kellis, age 78, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 in the Mountain City Care Center.  She was born August 11, 1945 in Springfield, Ohio, to the late Leon (Doc) Aldridge and Francis Yohn Aldridge.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Marlene was a homemaker.  She enjoyed listening to old country music and in her younger years, she enjoyed singing on the radio.

Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Chris Kellis of Elizabethton, Tennessee, Jimmy Kellis and John Kellis of Springfield, Ohio; sister, Deloris Poe of Springfield, Ohio and several other brothers and sisters; nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside service for Marlene will be held Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 1 pm in the Sunset Memorial Park with Tom Reece officiating.
