Martha Joan Blake

Martha Joan Blake, age 70, passed away Friday, September 18, 2015 at her residence. She was born February 18, 1945 to the late John Triplett and Dolly Triplett. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Blake, a sister, Louise Triplett Price, a brother, Clifford Triplett and one grandson, Matthew Rich. Her hobbies were flower gardens and being with her grandkids. She was a member of Rainbow Mennonite Church. Survivors are: two daughters, Samantha and husband Michael McDaniel, Linville, NC; Judy and husband Loren Garland, Mountain City, TN; one son, John Blake, Mountain City, TN; a very special sister, Margaret and husband Walter Adams, Mountain City, TN; one brother, Johnny Triplett, Mountain City, TN. Grandchildren: Josh Rich, Justin Garland and wife Amanda and Joseph Blake and fiancé Robyn Denine Barker and great grandchildren, Cayden Rich, Mileaha, Jaida and Noland Garland and Hayley, Tyler and Cory. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Special friends: Tisha Vaught, Vicki Price, and Nancy Martin, and special caregiver Joanie Lowe. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. from Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel with Rev. Gary Gambill officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. prior to the services. Graveside service will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. from Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be: Justin Garland, Josh Rich, Joseph Blake, Bronson Triplett, Timmy Price, Peyton McDaniel, and Kenny Ray Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are: Rainbow Mennonite Church, Justin Allen, Johnny Triplett, Walter Adams, Loren Garland, Michael McDaniel, and Earl Price.
