Marvin "Daddy" Clifford Roush III, age 26, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 from injuries sustained in an ATV accident. He was the son of Marvin Roush, Jr. Marvin's hobbies included hunting, fishing, chickens, and roosters. He also enjoyed riding horses and four wheelers and spending time with his family. His girls were his life. Mr. Roush was preceded in death by "Grandma Jones".
Survivors include: his wife, LaVonna Roush, of the home; three daughters: Tessa, Kiely and Addie of the home; his father: Marvin Roush, Jr.; two sisters: Barbara Hall and Hollie Roush; one brother: Adam Roush; his grandparents: Marvin and Arzella Roush of Mountain City, Tennessee; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Linda and Bill Dugger of Mountain City, Tennessee; grandparents-in-law: Jim and Mary Dugger of Mountain City, Tennessee; special friends: Gary Johnson of Mountain City, Tennessee, David Roush of West Jefferson, North Carolina and "Rusty and Sheena". One niece, one nephew and several uncles and aunts also survive.
Private services will be held for Marvin Clifford Roush III on April 10, 2008 with Rev. Oddis Dugger and Mr. David Roush officiating with interment to follow in Dugger Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Rusty McKinney, Adam Roush, Gary Johnson, Stephin Dunn, Jr., Rouston Pennington, and Hubert Payne. Honorary pallbearers will be Rickey Roark, Freddy Arnold, Jimmy Dugger, Bill Dugger, Joshua Price and Bob Price.
