View This Video Tribute Mary Lea Gambill, age 75, of 144 Ackerson Creek Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Monday May 3, 2010 in the Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC following an extended illness. Mrs. Gambill was a native of Johnson County, a daughter of the late Tom and Bessie Phillips Jenkins. She was a clerk before retiring, was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church, but was attending Corinth Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, two son, Jerry and Terry Greer, preceded her in death.

Son David and Patricia Greer, Lenoir, NC
Sister Phyliss and Paul Morrison, Mountain City, TN
Brother Earl Jenkins, Shady Valley, TN
Special Grandson Tyler Wilson
Granddaughter Angel Greer
Three Great Grandchildren
Several nieces and nephews
Special friends: CNA’S and nurses, Hall 200 Mountain City Care Center.
Funeral services for Mary Lea Gambill will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, May 6, 2010 from the chapel of the Teague Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Morefield and Rev. Mike Bowers officiating. Music will be by Mike Bowers and Cristy Dellinger.
Pallbearers will be Travis Wilson, Trenton Wilson, Paul Morrison, Buddy Williams, Eric Augustine and Brian Dolen.
Interment will be in the Jenkins Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm Thursday prior to the service.
Friends may call at the family residence 144 Ackerson Creek Road, Mountain City, TN at anytime.
