Mary Elizabeth Joyal

Mary Elizabeth Joyal, age 51, of Jefferson, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024.  Mary worked at Ingles Supermarket in West Jefferson and was known for her love of church and her devotion to spending time with family.

Mary is survived by her loving husband, Blayne Joyal, of Jefferson, NC; her mother, Nancy Sanders; her daughter, Taylor Boone, and son-in-law Bobby  Boone, of Mountain City, TN; her sister, Barbara Hyder and husband Jerry; her two stepchildren, Mckenzie and Grayson Joyal, of Lansing, NC and her four beloved grandchildren.  Mary is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mary was an active member of Midway Baptist Church in West Jefferson, where her faith and fellowship were an important part of her life.

Funeral services for Mary will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Leonard Fletcher officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm prior to the funeral service.  A graveside service will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, October 31, 2024 at Monta Vista Cemetery in Johnson city, Tennessee.
