Mary "Me" Icenhour

Mary “ME” Icenhour, age 50, of 352 B Johnson Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Sunday, August 28, 2016 in Johnson City Medical Center. She was born September 13, 1965 to the late Burl “Buck” Icenhour and Hattie David Icenhour. She was a member of Amazing Grace Church and she enjoyed reading and riding Harleys. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Skeeter Garland and Loretta “Tootie: Sisk. Survivors include one daughter: Cameron Cammi Mahala of Hickory, NC; two sister: Connie Austin of Lenoir, NC and Rosa Pearl Heaton of Mountain City, TN; three brothers: Jerry Icenhour and Jim Icenhour, both of Mountain City, TN and Garner Icenhour of Greensboro, NC; several nieces and nephews and special friends: Tim Potter, Jeff Snyder, Tina Miller, James Brown and Chassie Timbs. A memorial service for Mary “ME” Icenhour will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held at a later day. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Garland, Charlie Jennings, Mack Jennings, Danny Sisk, Jamey Icenhour, Malcom Sisk, Landon McCloud, Johnny Heaton, Jason Heaton and Junior Heaton. At other times friends may call at the home of Hattie Garland, 179 Mountain Site Drive, Apt 106, Mountain City, TN 37683. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dialysis Foundation. Professional services for the Icenhour family are being provided by Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.
