MaudLee Arnold, age 74, of 605 Claude Warren Road, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2004 at the Watauga Medical Center following an extended illness. A native of Shouns, Tennessee, she was born on March 6, 1930 to the late Robert Fate Pardue and Ollie Belle Tester Pardue. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Arnold; one sister, Lucille Dunn and five brothers, Hugh Pardue, Wiley Pardue, Paul Pardue, Walter Pardue and Bruce Pardue. MaudLee was a homemaker and a member of the Rainbow Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Arnold; three sons, Bobby Ray Arnold and wife Maxine, Eugene Arnold and wife Debbie and Mike Arnold and wife Donna; one sister, Irene Pardue, all of Mountain City, TN; one brother, Ulysses Pardue of Kennett Square, PA; eight grandchildren, Josh Arnold, Erick Arnold, Ethan Arnold, Brian Arnold and wife Lisa; Christie Atwood and husband Tracy, Phil Arnold and wife Wendy, Mike Essick, Jessie Essick and six great grandchildren, Kendra Arnold, Caden Arnold, Tracy Arnold, Dalton Atwood, Zack Arnold and Nate Arnold. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for MaudLee will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2004 from the Rainbow Baptist Church with Pastor Harold Danner, Pastor Greg Thompson and Pastor J.C. Greene to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 18, 2004 from the Rainbow Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Grandsons. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Rainbow Baptist Church prior to Services. At other times friend may call at the residence of Bob Arnold, 1247 Rainbow Road, Mountain City, Tennessee 37683. Family, Friends and Pallbearers are asked to assemble at 10:15 a.m. on Thursday at the Rainbow Baptist Church to go in procession to the Cemetery for Services.
