Obituary for Michael R. Ganzman: Michael R. Ganzman, age 57, passed away peacefully Monday April 30, 2013 at the Appalachian Christian Village in Johnson City, TN. Michael was a native of Elkton, Maryland, but had made his home in Mountain City, and Laurel Bloomery for 35 years. He was a carpenter and cabinet maker and his hobbies were fishing, boating, gardening and all types of woodworking. Michael was preceded in death by his father George H. Ganzman, grandmother, and grandfather and great grandmother. Survivors are Jane and eight children, Lee, Emily, Sugar, Heidi, Bo, Dylan, Xybein and Aurora. Mother, Frieda King Forestieri,and stepfather Bill Forestieri. Sister, Cathy and husband Terry Roberts, Taylorsville, NC Many many friends. No formal services will be held at this time. Johnson County Funeral Home is serving the Ganzman family.
