Milburn Mib'Leon Icenhour, age 89, of 707 Wilcox Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013 in the Veterans Administration Medical Center, Mountain Home Tennessee following an extended illness. He was born on July 27, 1924 in Mountain City Tennessee to the late Samuel Icenhour and Vina Brookshire Icenhour. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lee Wilcox Icenhour, a son Earl Leon Icenhour, a sister Betty Kate Icenhour, four brothers Elmer, Icenhour, Cliner Icenhour, Marvin Icenhour and John Icenhour and one great grandson Christopher James. Mib was retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation. He was a former Milk Hauler and former employee of Iron Mountain Construction. Also he was a member and Deacon of the Calvary Baptist Church. He was a WW II veteran having served in the United States Army. He was a Member of the D.A.V. He loved farming, fishing, horses and trains. Survivors include three daughters: Shirley Potter and husband Rick Mountain City, Tennessee. Judy Icenhour, of the home. Joyce Icenhour, Mountain City, Tennessee. Two sisters: Bonnie Wilcox, Avondale, Pa. Elizabeth Dunn, Mountain City, TN. Three brothers: Jim Icenhour and wife Villas Mountain City, TN. Joel Icenhour and wife Margaret Mountain City, TN. Warren Icenhour, Avondale, PA. Three grandchildren: Amy Sluder, Elizabethton, TN. Jason Leon Bunting, Blountville, TN. Teresa Clark, Elizabethton, TN;Eight great grandchildren:Brady Potter, Samuel Blevins, Nathan Clark, A.J. Sluder, Madison Bunting, Charity Bunting, Hope Farmer and Christian Farmer. Several nieces and newphews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 8 pm. Saturday September 21, 2013 from the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Spencer, Rev. Sam Icenhour, and Rev Rick Thomason to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Lindsay Deboard and the church choir. Pallbearers will be Jon Sluder, Jessee Street, Jason Bunting, Sam Blevins, Brady Potter, John Wilcox, Johnny Wilcox, and Brad Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bill Icenhour, Billy Icenhour, Jimmy Jennings, Chip Wilcox, Wayne Gambill, Rob Wilcox, Squeak Icenhour, and the Deacons of Calvary Baptist Church. The Family will receive friends from 6 until 8 pm prior to the funeral service. Military graveside services will be conducted on Sunday September 22, 2013 at 2 pm from the Johnson Cemetery, accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard. Everyone will assemble at the cemetery at 1:45 pm. At other times the family will receive friends at the residence 707 Wilcox Road at anytime.
