Milda Stout

Milda Isaacs Stout, age 96, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the home of her son, Bob, in Millersville, Maryland. A native of Butler, Tennessee, Milda was born on July 6, 1918, to the late Benjamin Harrison (B.H.) and Flora Inez Gregg Isaacs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Shafter Stout in 1994; a daughter, Peggy Stout Covert in 1997; a grandson, Nickey Stout; and a brother, Haskell Isaacs. Mrs. Stout retired from Shadowline of Boone, North Carolina and was also a beautician. She was a member of Stout Hill Church of Christ and loved to work in her flowers, in her garden and canned many, many vegetables. Survivors include her precious son, Bob Stout, Millersville, Maryland; a granddaughter, Brandee Krieger and husband Lee; two great granddaughters, Camby and Maddie; and one brother, Carter Isaacs and wife Marcella. Several nieces, nephews, and many, many friends also survive. A service to honor the life of Mrs. Milda Isaacs Stout will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton with Rev. Donnie Cable, officiating. A eulogy will be given by her nephew, Steven Isaacs. The family will receive friends from NOON - 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel, prior to the service on Saturday. The graveside service will follow in the Stout Family Cemetery in Butler, Tennessee. Active pallbearers will be Milda's friends and neighbors.
