Miss Gail Tester

Miss Gail Tester, age 76, of 215 Joe Tester Lane, Mountain City, TN went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was a native of Johnson County and was born July 03, 1927 to the late J.M. and Virgie Tester. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; Joe, Clay and Clyde Tester, four sisters; Bertie Morefield, Maude Tester, Carrie Tester and Vennie Brown, one nephew; J.D. Brown and one niece; Mary Lou Meade. Miss Tester was a homemaker, retired from The Courtesy Drug Store and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: A Special Sister-in-law: Gertrude Tester, Of the Home (4) Nieces: Pauline Morefield, Josephine Meade, Zellarhea Sheets Hammons and Ann Cress (2) Nephews: Norman Tester and Dwight Tester Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Funeral services for Miss Gail Tester, Age 76, of 215 Joe Tester Lane, Mountain City, TN will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2003 at the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Norman and Rev. Derl McCloud to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Ann Cress, Sherry Tester and Zellarhea Sheets Hammons. Active Pallbearers will be: Keith Brown, Greg Meade, Chris Sheets, Jeff Tester, Tim Tester and Shannon Wagner. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
