: MOLLIE MAE NICHOLS SHOUN Mollie Mae Nichols Shoun, age 88, of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away July 07, 2003 at home. She was a native of Johnson County and was born May 07, 1915 to the late William Arthur and Lula Winebarger Nichols. Mrs. Shoun was preceded in death by her husband, Emil M. "Bud" Shoun in 1983, one sister and six brothers. She was Elder Emeritus and the last surviving Charter Member of the Mountain City Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Shoun was a Christian who loved the Lord, her Family, her Church and her community. Survivors include: (4) Daughters and Sons-in-laws: Selma and Ernest Fifer, Mountain City, Tennessee Nancy Burt, Mountain City, Tennessee Kay and Buddy Bowers, Harriman, Tennessee Katherine and Daniel Moore, Rockwood, Tennessee (1) Brother: Ray Nichols, Johnson City, Tennessee (4) Grandsons: Rev. James Morley Timothy Morley David Bowers Matthew Moore (3) Granddaughters: Holly Kharitonashvili Amber Ward Mariellen Moore (1) Great Grandson: Eric Kharitonashvili Six half brothers and sisters, beloved Nephew Robert Gentry of Suitland Maryland and several other special nieces and nephews. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the Arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Mountain City Presbyterian Church on Saturday, July 12, 2003 from 1-2 p.m. Funeral services for Mollie Mae Nichols Shoun will follow with interment in the Phillippi Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, friends may honor her life by donations to the Mountain City Presbyterian Church or to the Johnson County Rescue Squad. Friends may call at the family home, 315 College Street, Mountain City, Tennessee, at anytime. Hux-Lipford Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
