Naomi S. Shull, age 64, of Edgewood, Washington, and formerly of Pascagoula, Mississippi, went home to be with the Lord Friday, October 31, 2003 in Washington following a brief illness. A native of Johnson County, she was born October 19, 1939 to Marylee Shull Shoun and the late Joe C. Shoun, who passed away in 1980. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Shull, who passed away in April 2000, one son Kenneth Dugger and one sister Phyllis Sutherland. Naomi graduated from Johnson County High School in 1958. She was a former employee of Burlington Industries, where she worked from 1975-1977, a volunteer for the American Red Cross and enjoyed crocheting. Naomi was a member of the Ingalls Avenue Baptist Church of Pascagoula, Mississippi where she kept nursery and sang in the Church Choir. Naomi is survived by her mother; Marylee Shull Shoun of Mountain City, Tennessee, one son and daughter-in-law; Keith and Jennifer Dugger of Edgewood, Washington, one sister; Doris Sutphin of Springfield, Virginia, three grandchildren; Stephanie Dugger of Bremerton, Washington, Mathew and Paul Kelly, both of Edgewood, Washington, three nieces and one nephew; Melinda Sutherland Heck of Mountain City, Tennessee, Bobbie Jo Sutherland Crawford, Pamela Caswell and Ron Sutphin all of Virginia. Funeral Services for Naomi S. Shull will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, November 06, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Rev. Haskel Ingram to officiate. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 05, 2003 at Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Graveside Services will follow Funeral Services at the Mast Cemetery in Neva, Tennessee. Active Pallbearers include: John Shull, Aaron Shull, Benny Grindstaff, Blake Stout and Sam Cress.
