Nell Arnold Galliher

Nell Galliher, of 4448 Bristol Hwy, Johnson City, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday November 11, 2014 at the Johnson City Medical Center. She was born in Mountain City, Tennessee on June 16, 1927 to the late Kelly Arnold and Cliffie Phillips Arnold, In addition to her, parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Fayette Arnold and Emmitt Arnold and two sisters, Rena Brown and Hester Snyder. She was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church of Johnson City, Tennessee. Survivors include: Three sisters: June Smith, Bristol, Va, Alice Reynolds, Charlotte, N.C., LulaBell Wallace, Essex, Md. and Inez Wallace, Zionville, N.C. Three Brothers: Dean Arnold, Mountain City, TN, Leavie Arnold and wife, JoAnn of Mountain City, TN and Danny Arnold and wife, Charlotte of Mountain City, TN. A special brother-in-law Ray Snyder, special friends Linda and Edy and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Service for Nell Galliher will be conducted at 1 pm. on Friday, November 14, 2014 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, with the visitation from 12 pm. until 1 pm. prior to the funeral service. We will then go in procession to the Arnold Cemetery for the graveside service. Pastor Paul Peer is conducting the service. Active pallbearers will be: Van Arnold, Rocky Wallace, David Arnold, Scotty Arnold, Frankie Smith and Dean Reynolds. Honorary pallbearer will be: Gerald Hale.
