Nell Louise Young

Nell Louise Young, age 93, of Dover, Delaware and formally of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 20, 2006 at the Silverlake Nursing Home in Dover, Delaware. She was born on November 1, 1912 in Ashe County, North Carolina to the late Robert and Jane Osborne Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hamilton Young, who passed away in 1978; five brothers and four sisters. Nell was a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain City, Tennessee. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law: Larry J. and Gail Lester of Brookhaven, Pennsylvania and Edward and Priscilla Young of Dover, Delaware; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Nell Louise Young will be conducted at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home of Mountain City, Tennessee, with Rev. Ricky Campbell to officiate. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., prior to the Service, at the funeral home. Graveside Services and Interment will follow from the Sunset Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be family and friends of Nell.
