Nicky McKinney

Nicky Ray McKinney, of Roan Mountain, Tennessee was met at the gate by his Heavenly Father on January 6th, 2026. Nicky was born to the late Arnold (Ray) McKinney and Bobbie Miller McKinney on August 28th, 1967. Nicky was a graduate of Cloudland High School.

Left to cherish his memories include the love of his life, Kimberly Mckinney, his children Hunter (Tony) McKinney and Jacob McKinney, Stepson Cody Madden, grandchildren Stevie, Noah McKinney, and Brian Osborne, two special nieces Morgan McKinney and Johanna Johnson, one special aunt Donna Gray.

In addition to his parents, Nicky was preceded in death by his sister Dede McKinney and brother Robby McKinney.

A funeral service will be conducted Monday, January 12th at 7pm in the Roan Mountain Holiness Church with Preacher Don Julian officiating. The family will receive visitors from 5pm-7pm prior to the funeral service. Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, January 13th, at 11am in the McKinney Miller Cemetery, Hampton Creek Road, Roan Mountain, Tennessee. 

Active pallbearers include Kenny Johnson, Lance Thompson, Steve Buchanan, Jon Julian, Mike Ward, Tony Chambers, Robbie Turbyfild, Brian Gouge with Tim "Truck" Roberson and Tony Whitehead as honorary pallbearers.
