Listen to Obituary

Noah Lee Click, fondly known by many as the “Telephone Man,” passed away peacefully at his residence on July 1, 2026, at the age of 90. Born on May 21, 1936, in West, Virginia, to the late Thomas Edward Click and Goldie Smith Click, Noah's journey through life was marked by resilience, warmth, and unfailing dedication to his loved ones and community.

Noah attended Calvary Baptist Church and Corinth Baptist Church. He proudly served his country as a United States Army Veteran SP 4 of the Korean War and was a member of the Nataional Guard's 278th Armored Calvary Regiment in Bristol.  He was a member of Taylorsville Masonic Lodge 243 F&AM.  A dedicated and familiar face, he spent his career as an installer for United Inter-Mountain Telephone Company, Sprint and CentruyLink, serving families throughout Johnson County and surrounding areas.  He never had to pack his dinner, as those families always welclomed him to their table. Noah loved watching Fox News, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds and Washington Redskins.

His loved ones remember Noah’s steadfast presence most clearly within his family. He is survived by his sons, Andy Click of Mountain City, Curtis Click of West, Virginia, Sam Click and wife Tammy of Mountain City and Shea, Noah D. Click and wife Victoria of Fall Branch and Stacy Click of Mountain City; stepdaughter, Mary Martin and husband Charles, stepson, Mark Lundy and wife Nancy; brother in law Dick Wright and wife Janet; and sister in law, Louise Lindsey. The bonds Noah forged extended to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews who learned from his example and cherished his guidance.

Noah’s life was also touched by meaningful friendships, most notably with his special friend Dick Stout, who stood by his side through many cherished moments.

In addition to his parents, Noah was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret Ann Click and Jeanette Lundy Click, and all of his sisters and brothers.
