Norman David Miller Jr., lovingly known as "Boogie" passed away peacefully in his bed on February 27, 2026.
Boogie was the kind of person who filled the room before he even spoke and once he did, laughter followed. He had a natural gift for humor and a heart that was even bigger than his smile. He loved making people laugh and never missed a chance to lift someone's spirits. Helping others came natually to him. If somone needed a hand, Boogie was already there. He was a proud daddy's boy and the absolute center of his parents world. The love between Boogie and his family was fierce, constant, and unmistakable.
He is survived by his father Norman Miller Sr. and stepmother Tammy; his mother Peggy Anderson, and his stepfather Ken; his papaw Norman E Miller; his grandmother, Sandra Newman; his brothers, Cameron Newman and wife Jaleesa, Codty Newman and wife Wanda; his brother Theo Hensley and sister Samantha Roark. His beloved nieces and nephews who adored their uncle Boogie; Ezrah, JoJo, Anyah, Aaliyah, Ariana, Aliza, and Easton. His cousins, Garrett Dukenski, Courtney Guizzotti, Tyler Dujenski, and Alisia Dujenski.
Boogie will be remembered for his laughter, huge heart, and the light he brought into the lives of everyone who knew him. He was loved and will be profoundly missed.
A funeral service for Boogie will be conducted at 7:00 PM on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Tony Potter to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM prior to the funeral service.
