Ogee Price

Ogee Price, age 96, of 354 Shupe's Mill Road, Mountain City passed away, Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at her residence following a brief illness. She was a native of Ashe County, NC and was born May 31, 1910 to the late Luther and Lillie Mahala Osborne. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Aubrey Price, two brothers, Golden Osborne and Olson Osborne, two sisters, Vivion Osborne and Lessie Osborne. Mrs. Price was a homemaker and Mother, She loved crocheting and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors: include One son: Benson Price of Mountain City One grandson: Douglas Price of Erwin, Tenn Special friends: Susan McQueen and Kelly Gillenwater Several Nieces and Nephews Funeral services will be held 8:00 p. m. Thursday, December 28, 2006 from the Chapel of the Henson Funeral Home with Pastor Ralph Vanover to officiate. Graveside services and burial will be held 11:00 a. m. Friday from the Price Cemetery, Rock Creek, NC. Pallbearers will be: Douglas Price, David Wilson, Sammy Wilson, Curtis Osborne and Erby Johnson The family will receive friends from 6 until 8:00 p. m. Thursday at the Funeral Home Chapel and other times friends may call at the family residence, 354 Shupe's Mill Road, Mountain City at anytime.
