O.H. Wilson, Sr., age 94, of Mountain Home, Tennessee and formerly of Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2003 at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center Nursing Home. A native of Trade, Tennessee, he was born April 09, 1909 to the late William Stacy and Julie Belle Dotson Wilson. O.H. was preceded in death by his parents, his wife; Elizabeth Goff Wilson, who passed away in 1981, three sisters; Inez Wilson Williams, Hazel Phipps and Nelle Geary and three brothers; Joe, Jim and Alf Wilson. He was a World War II Veteran having served in the United States Army Infantry. O.H. received his Doctor of Juris Prudence Degree at Cumberland Law School and practiced Law and served as General Sessions Judge for many years. He was a member of the Mountain City Rotary Club and a member of the Mountain City Presbyterian Church. Mr. Wilson is survived by two sons; Max Wilson of Johnson City, Tennessee and O.H. Wilson Jr. of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, five grandchildren, one great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Military Graveside Services for O.H. Wilson, Sr. will be accorded by the Johnson County Honor Guard 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2003 from the Sunset Memorial Park with Rev. Norman Reece and Pastor Jim Swoager to officiate. Pallbearers will be friends and neighbors. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2003 from the Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home.
