Ola Mae Laws

Ola Mae Laws, age 70, of 221 Wayne Laws Road, Butler, Tennessee, passed away Thursday, January 01, 2004 at her residence. A native of Johnson County, she was born April 10th, 1933 to the late Ray and Bertha Smith Fletcher. Ola was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter; JoAnn Laws, two brothers; Kyle and Bill Fletcher and one sister; Zola Fletcher. Ola was a member of the Dyson Grove Baptist Church. Ola is survived by her husband, Wayne Laws of the home, two daughters; Kathy Garland and Teresa Poore, both of Butler, Tennessee, three sons; Ronnie Laws, Gary Laws and Steve Laws, all of Butler, Tennessee, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and special friend; Jean Buchanan, Mountain City, Tennessee. Funeral Services for Ola Mae Laws will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 04, 2004 from the Dyson Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Leonard Fletcher and Rev. Greg Thompson to officiate. Family will receive friends from 12-2:00 p.m. prior to Services. Burial will follow at the Fletcher Family Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Mike Fenner, Kenneth Taylor, Tim Laws, Dean Fletcher, Jim Phillips and Tim Roberts. Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. Floyd Barker, Dr. James Mahoney and Dr. Michael Kaplan In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
