Ola Mae Scott, age 83, of 327 B. Johnson Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Wednesday, June 12, 2013 in Mountain City Care Center. She was a daughter of the late Taft and Selma Warren Wilcox. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and her hobbies were sewing and she loved babysitting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Otis Scott in 1996; daughter: Kathy Sue Scott; sisters: Mary Icenhour and Maxine Icenhour; brothers: John Wilcox and Ed Wilcox. Survivors include: stepmother Bertha Arnold Wilcox of Mountain City, TN; one daughter: Jennie Elaine Johnson; one son: Charles David Scott; sisters: Ilene Cuddy of Mountain City, TN; Bernice Mullins of Elizabethton, TN; Della Womble of Chapel Hill, NC; Carolyn Higganbotham and husband Gary of Durham, NC; and Naomi Butner of Hurdle Mills, NC; brothers: Rob Wilcox and wife Jana Lee of Mountain City, TN and J.B. Wilcox and wife Priscilla "Tiny" of Bluff City, TN; Grandchildren: Angela Fritts and husband David "Bo"; Teresa Johnson, Emma Courtner, Chuck Scott and Larry Scott: great grandchildren: Brady Fritts, Jacob Harrington, Justin and Brittany Brewer; Jaida Walters, Savannah, Preston, and Emily Courtner. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services for Ola Mae Scott will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 15, 2013 from Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Spencer and Rev. Rick Thomason officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service. Music will be provided by the church choir. Graveside service and interment will follow in Johnson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be David "Bo" Fritts, Greg Wilcox, Jeff Wilcox, Chip Wilcox, Chuck Scott and Tony Nelson. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Harrington, Scott Wilcox, Daniel Jones, Justin Brewer, Dr. Griffith and Billy Ray Icenhour. Friends may call at the residence 327 B. Johnson Road at any time.
