She was born in Johnson County on July 20, 1933 to the late Von and Ruth (Brown) Dunn. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Dale Dunn and Lloyd Dunn. Opal was a homemaker and a member of Nelsons Chapel Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Robert Jones; one son, Wayne Jones, both of the home; one granddaughter, Stephanie Jones Williams and husband David of Gray, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services for Opal Lillian Jones will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 23, 2006 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with Mr. Ray Vaught to officiate. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Funeral Home, prior to the Services. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 24, 2006 from the Sunset Memorial Park. Active Pallbearers will be: Lester Dunn, Chris Dunn, Jim Phillips, Carl Mast, Matthew Dunn and Herman Stout. Honorary Pallbearers is: David Williams. Family, Pallbearers and Friends are asked to assemble by 1:45 p.m. at the Cemetery on Wednesday for Graveside Services.
