Opal Bunting Susi, age 83, of 904 Avery Branch Road, Mountain City, TN passed away Friday, January 2, 2009, at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of the late Ott M. Bunting and Ina Lee Stout Bunting. She was a native of Johnson County, was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and Mother. Her parents and her husband Frank P. Susi, two sons, Gary Susi and Frank P. Susi, Jr.; two sisters Kathleen Bunton and Virginia Snyder; one brother Barton Bunting, preceded her in death.

Survivors: One Granddaughter, Julie Susi, Richfield Springs, NY

Two Sisters: Marjorie Ginolfi, Mountain City

Shirley Bunting, Mountain City

Six Brothers: Marshall P. Bunting, New York,

J. Fred Bunting and wife Lydia, Tacoma WA

James Bunting and wife Wilma, Kingsport, TN

Mack Bunting, and wife Connie, Walls, MS

Harold Bunting and wife Linda, Mountain City, TN

Funeral Services for Opal Bunting Susi, will be conducted at 6:00 P. M. Monday, January 5, 2009, from the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Richardson and Rev. Bryant Collins, officiating.

Pallbearers will be Philip Bunting, David Bunting, Todd Bunton, Terry Bunton, Marvin Bunting, Bob Ward and John Snyder.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Caris Hospice, Dr. James Shine and Kathleen.

Entombment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum of Love at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 6, 2009.

The Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P. M. Monday, January 5, 2009, at the Funeral Home Chapel. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 904 Avery Branch Road, Mountain City.

In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Johnson County Rescue Squad, 203 Vandilla Street, Mountain City, TN.
