Oshea Kirby Norris

Oshea Kirby Norris, age 75, of Newark, Delaware, and formally of Mountain City, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2007. Born in Mountain City, Tennessee on June 16, 1931, Oshea was one of twelve children of the late Jesse Arnold and Emma Payne Arnold. She moved to Newark in 1966, where she worked as an administrative assistant for New London Textile Printworks until retiring in 1993. A loving and caring mother, grandmother and sister, Oshea will be greatly missed by her devoted family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands: Dean W. Kirby, Curtis Huffman and Edgar Norris; a daughter, Deana L. Kirby, who passed away on January 23, 2007. Oshea is survived by her daughter, Betty Sue Dittami; son-in-law, Mark Dittami; two wonderful grandchildren: Dean Dittami and Dinah Dittami, all of Newark, Delaware and her sister, Nina Tedder of Mountain City, Tennessee. Funeral Services for Oshea Kirby Norris will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 10, 2007 from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel of the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home, Mountain City, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, prior to the Services. The family will also receive friends on Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 W. Park Place, Newark, Delaware. Graveside Services and Interment will be conducted on Saturday, March 10, 2007 following the funeral service from the Dunn Memorial Park, Mountain City, Tennessee. Pallbearers will be Family and Friends of Oshea. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 1501 Casho Mill Road, Suite 1, Newark, Delaware 19711.
