Pamela Jean Church was lovingly wrapped in the arms of her Savior on December 5, 2024. She stepped through the gates of Heaven as a daughter of the King. She truly loved her Lord and spoke of Him often. He was her favorite subject. Her other favorites were her daughter Nicky Maine (husband Brandon) of Mountain City, Tennessee; and her two grandsons, Mason and Zane Spicer, who lovingly called her Mimi. They were her whole life. Pam was preceded in death by her dear mother, Jean Ellen Church, and her niece Melissa South. She is survived by her father, Marion Church (wife Kathy) of Mountain City; sister Becky Wallace (husband Ronnie) of Roan Mountain; sister, Mary Ann House (husband Lee) of Bean Station; brother Mark Church (wife Debbie) of Mountain City; and sister Patty Lou McCloud (husband Harold) of Rutledge. There are many nieces and nephews that she leaves behind who loved her; a special nephew Joe South (wife Chasity) of Bean Station were especially close to her and will miss her deeply. She leaves behind many cousins and was extra close to Marty Lawerance of Silverstone, NC. Pam loved people and was a friend to many. She loved having coffee with the nurses every morning at The Heritage Center Nursing Home in Morristown, TN. The family would like to express deep appreciation for the staff and patients who made her feel at home there. Pam was generous to everyone and was always a giver. She was fun-loving and determined to do her best in life. She had a heart for those who struggled. Her own struggles are now over and she can enjoy peace, with the Prince of Peace. A celebration of life service for Pam will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
