Our Heavenly Father, in His divine wisdom called to rest His child Patricia Ann Dugger on Wednesday, June 13, 2007. She was born to the late Katherine Marie and George Albert Cooper on Wednesday, February 26, 1953 in Baltimore, Maryland.

In June 1972, Pat graduated from Frederick Douglass Senior High School. In June, 1977 Pat received a Bachelor of Science Degree in special Education from Coppin State University in Baltimore, Maryland. Pat embarked on graduate studies to complete her Masters Degree requirements at Coppin State University. Pat was employed for many years in the Baltimore City School System as a Special Education Teacher. While residing in Bristol, Pat was employed as a House Mother at the Haven of Rest where she enjoyed her interaction with the residents.

In July 1978, Pat married Charles E. Pratt, Sr. From this union one child was born Charles Edward Partt, Jr. The blessing of Holy Matrimony came into Pat's life again in November 2006 when she met and married Alfred Dugger who was indeed the love of her life. Pat often proclaimed that "I am the happiest that I have ever been in my life."

At a very young age, Pat joined the Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, Baltimore, Maryland. There she was converted and baptized on November 26, 1961 under the Leadership of Rev. Jarrett R. Butler. She was a member of the Youth Department, Junior Ushers, Sunday School, and the E.P. Butler Choir. As she continued to grow in her walk with the Lord, Pat joined the Community Baptist Church in Jessup, Maryland through Christian experienced under the leadership of Rev. Robert T. Hurte. There she served as a faithful member until she relocated to Bristol, Virginia. Upon residing in Bristol, she fellowshipped with the Church of the Nazarene under the leadership of Pastor Barbara Coffman. Pat enjoyed many happy days with Pastor Barbara and the members of the Church of the Nazarene. She loved her church and faithfully attended Sunday and Wednesday night worship services. Pat loved singing and testifying to the goodness of the Lord.

Pat loved her family. She would often say that she put her son and other members on the prayer list. Even though she lived a distance away she would keep in daily contact with her family in Baltimore. Pat loved children; while her son was small she would often be seen with a car full of children going to the beach, park, etc. The neighborhood children would love to gather at Ms. Pat's house. Pat was a nurse in her niece's eyes. Whenever Joy was sick and needed to stay home Aunt Tricia was always there to "rub her down" give her medicine on time and give her something good to eat to help her feel better. Pat also had a wonderful gift of fixing things. She could look at something that was not working, dissect it and repair it. Pat was truly loved and will be truly missed by all.

Pat leaves to mourn her beloved husband Alfred Dugger, one son Charles E. Pratt, Jr., two grandchildren Caleb E. Pratt and CamRon E. Pratt, her twin sister Pamelia A. Brown (Milton) one niece Joy Marie Parkey, great niece Sarah Melanie Harris a bellowed cousin "Sister" Ann Luten, nine sister in laws Sylvia, Rachel, Marie, Bona, Catherine, Mary, Joyce, Barbara and Carol, two brother in laws Jessie and Frank.
