Patsy Lewis

Patsy Lewis age 69, of 1850 Roundabout Road, Creston, NC, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2022 at Watauga Medical Center, Boone, NC She was a native of Creston, NC and was born August 4, 1953 to the late Ralston Jones and Verda Allen Jones. In addition to her parents she was preceded by two brothers: J.R. Jones and Farris Jones. She was a former employee of Sara Lee for over 25 years. She also worked at Levi Strauss and Tweetsie. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was member of the Pine Mountain Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband; Darrell Lewis, two sons; Wesley Lewis and Alex Roark of Creston. Six sisters; Mae Johnson of Mountain City, Mary Bell Blevins of Silas Creek, NC, Arzella Roush of Mountain City, Kathleen Keys of Ashe County, NC, Barbara Roush of Creston and Bonnie Lewis of Mountain City, Two brothers; J.D. Jones of Creston and Johnny Jones of Mountain City. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. A memorial service for Patsy will be held on Tuesday, June 14 at 7 pm at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home with Tommy Stephens and Tommy Worth to preside. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7 pm prior to memorial service. At other times friends may call the residence of her sister, Mae Johnson of Fall Branch Road.
