Paul Junior Combs

Paul "Junior" Combs, age 57, of 924 Hampton Street, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at his residence. A native of Mountain City, Tennessee, he was born on September 7, 1947 to Ella Combs and the late Paul William Combs, Sr. In addition to his father, Paul was preceded in death his friend, Will Underwood. He was a 1967 Graduate of Avon Grove High School. Paul was a member of the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed music and writing music and also enjoyed wood working. Paul was a member of the Avondale Church of Christ. In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his wife, Paige A. Combs of the home; two sons, John Combs of Mountain City and Christopher Combs of Avondale, PA; two sisters, Jayne Combs of Oxford, PA and Mary Tedesco of Jennersville, PA; two brothers, Bob Combs of Oxford, PA and Gary Combs of Kennett Square, PA; six grandchildren, Steven Leonard Combs, Christopher Combs, Austin Combs, Sawyer Combs, Brooke Combs and Zackary Combs. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Paul "Junior" Combs, will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 24, 2004, from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Don Hathaway and Deacon Steven Buckles to officiate. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 25, 2004, from the Philllippi Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Michael Moody, Mark Lundy, Nick Piergo, Joey Testa, Bobby Joe Michaud, and Vincent Boccardy. Flower Bearer will be Mikayla Moody. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jim Darocha, Robert Bailey, Jim Lundy, Ron Wilson, and Kathleen Wilson. Visiting Hours will be from 6 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, prior to the Funeral Service. At other times, friends may call at the residence, 924 Hampton Street, Mountain City.
