Paul J Fletcher

Paul J. Fletcher, age 81 of 1855 Little Dry Run Rd., Butler, Tennessee passed away on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Mountain City Care Center after a long illness. He was a farmer and plumber. Paul loved to help his friends and neighbors. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church of Butler. He was the son of the late Harry H. and Belva Ann Cardwell Fletcher. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll, Charles and Walter Fletcher. Two sisters, Mavis Rainbolt and Dorothy Potter. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Elouise Potter Fletcher and three sisters, Annie Bradley of Morristown, TN; Winnie Phillips of Butler, TN and Mary Lee Potter and husband Dwight of Kingsport, TN and several nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are Junior Potter, Bob Fletcher, John Bradley, Jack Bradley, Wesley Ward, Ronnie Laws, Randall Fletcher, Adam Lothridge, Todd Lothridge, Dean Fletcher and Jim Phillips. Honorary pallbearers are the men of Midway Baptist Church, Hubert Lewis, Jessee Cable, Ronald Harmon, John Yarber and the staff of Hall Two Mountain City Care Center, Mitchell Potter, Bruce Boyd, Kent Gray, Gerald Price and Mike Dugger. Funeral services for Mr. Fletcher will be held Sunday, November 13, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. from the Charles B. Hux Memorial Chapel, Hux-Lipford Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Greene, Rev. Greg Thompson and Rev. Leonard Fletcher officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 13, 2011 from 5 - 6:00 p.m. from the Hux-Lipford Funeral Home. Interment will be Monday, November 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. from the Fletcher Cemetery, Butler, TN. At other times friends may call at the residence, 1855 Little Dry Run Rd. Butler, TN at anytime.
