Pearl Arnold

Pearl Arnold, age 104, of 919 Medical Park Drive, Mountain City, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at the Mountain City Care Center. A native of Johnson County, TN, she was born January 1, 1901, to the late Dave and Relida Snyder Roark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Arnold, four sons, two daughters, and one grandson. Pearl was a homemaker and was a member of the Walnut Grove Baptist Church. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Virgie and Bruce McGlamery, Trade, TN; two daughters-in-law: Anna Mae Arnold Cooper, Sally, SC; Willa Mae Arnold, Mountain City, TN; seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services for Pearl Arnold will be held at 7:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2005 from the Hux-Tetrick Funeral Home with Rev. Clyde Campbell and Bro. Clint Howard to officiate. Music will be under the direction of Kenny and Lois Ann Price. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2005, from the Arnold Cemetery, Antioch Road, Mountain City, TN. Pallbearers will be Grandsons. Honorary Pallbearers are: Dr. John Whitlock, Mr. Jim Hutchinson, Dan Arnold, Earl Arnold, Dean Arnold, Don Roark, John Arnold, and J.R. Arnold. The family will receive friends 5 - 7:00 p.m. on Saturday prior to Services at the Funeral Home.
